“Six months after a ceasefire was declared, Gaza continues to be hell on earth. 738 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, and the suffering has been further exacerbated by persistent Israeli restrictions on the entry and flow of desperately needed humanitarian aid.

Against this backdrop, @ahmedmuin_abuamsha is a bright light, offering children a rare outlet for levity, joy and hope. His @gazabirdssinging ensemble travel the enclave, visiting kids in various camps and making beautiful music with them.

The song in this clip is Al Assfourah by Majida El Roumi, sung by a girls choir in Khan Younis – South Gaza.”
